FRES Solar was proud to participate and exhibit at two impactful events: the 6th National Crane Festival held on 24th February 2026 in Masaka City, and the Harvest Money Expo 2026 held from 27th February to 1st March 2026 at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala. Our team, represented by Maris Tumusiime – Commercial Manager, and Mukasa Vincent, Production Team Leader, actively engaged with attendees at both events.
At both exhibitions, FRES Solar showcased its clean and renewable energy services, highlighting the company’s ability to supply reliable power to large energy consumers to as high as 6.5kwh of energy such as schools, hospitals, wildlife reserves, and petrol stations, while also supporting small businesses and rural enterprises. FRES Solar also exhibited its latest solar energy technologies and highlighted its role in environmental conservation, having helped avoid over 1,560 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, demonstrating the tangible impact of renewable energy on climate protection.
The Crane Festival, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry, Uganda, Wildlife and Antiquities and the International Crane Foundation, emphasized the protection of wetlands and the iconic Grey Crowned Crane. FRES Solar highlighted its work powering businesses in and near Katonga Wildlife Reserve in Kyegegwa District, showing how renewable energy supports communities while conserving natural ecosystems.
At Harvest Money Expo 2026, FRES Solar exhibited under the Dutch Village, connecting with farmers, agribusinesses, and potential partners interested in reliable energy solutions for productive use. The expo provided a platform for visibility, partnership building, and knowledge exchange with organizations such as Dieleman Potatoes, B&S Group Ltd of Companies, AGRICADO FARMS Uganda Ltd, and Syngenta Seeds B.V..
FRES Solar remains committed to driving innovation, sustainability, and impact through renewable energy solutions that empower communities, support livelihoods, and conserve the environment.
