Celebrating a Milestone Year at FRES Solar.

As we marked the end of 2025, the FRES Solar family came together to celebrate a year defined by innovation, teamwork, and impactful service delivery on 06.12.2025 at head office in booma Mbarara. The atmosphere was full of excitement as the team reflected on the progress made and expressed genuine appreciation for this year’s achievements.

The day was made even more memorable through fun and engaging team-building activities that brought everyone together. Laughter, teamwork, and shared energy filled the space as staff connected, collaborated, and celebrated the strong bond that keeps FRES Uganda moving forward. The excitement throughout the activities reminded us of the power of unity and a motivated team.

During the celebration, our General Manager Benjamin Emiau applauded:

– The introduction of 3 mini-grids a transformative step that positions FRES Solar to reach even more underserved communities.
– The strong 2025 team performance, driven by dedication across all departments.
-The collective effort in spearheading the 2025 mission of delivering value and driving sustainable growth.
-The onboarding of our new partners, Urban Impact Ventures , a development that the entire team welcomed with excitement and optimism for the future.

A special highlight of the evening was recognizing outstanding performers. The team celebrated each other’s hard work, and we proudly recognized Kalikwan Keifer as the Employee of the Year for bringing in the highest number of new clients a remarkable contribution to our growth and customer reach.

As we head into 2026, we are energized by the impact we’ve made and inspired to achieve even greater milestones. Our commitment remains clear: expanding access to clean, reliable energy and improving lives across rural Uganda.
