EEP Africa Mini-Grid Project
An innovative mini-grid programme combining Energy-as-a-Service with Battery Bank Africa's Storage-as-a-Service technology to electrify dairy cooperatives and surrounding communities in South Western Uganda.
Overview
FRES Solar is implementing an innovative mini-grid programme that combines our Energy-as-a-Service model with Battery Bank Africa's Storage-as-a-Service technology to electrify dairy cooperatives and surrounding communities in South Western Uganda.
The project uses a phased approach where dairy cooperatives serve as anchor customers before expanding electricity access to households and businesses.
